Thirteen candidates are elected to the Boston City Council.

Incumbents Stephen Murphy (23,659), Sam Yoon (23,230) and Michael Flaherty (25,863) and newcomer John Connolly (21,997) are elected to at-large positions on the Boston City Council. All nine district City Councilors – Salvatore Lamattina, William Linehan, Maureen Feeney, Charles Yancey, Rob Consalvo, John Tobin Jr., Chuck Turner, Michael Ross, and Mark Ciommo – are easily reelected. At-large City Councilor Felix Arroyo loses his bid for reelection. Turnout is 13.6%, one of the lowest in modern history.
